Caring for your jewelry will not only keep them looking great, but will ensure that they last for a long time. Your jewelry may fade over time from wear and tear. However, you may be able to prevent this by taking a few precautions.
Caring for and Wearing your Jewelry
We recommend removing jewelry before taking a shower, going to bed or participating in physical activities, particularly when swimming in the sea or a swimming pool
Exposure to harsh chemicals such as hair spray, perfume‚ lotions‚ household cleansers, chlorine, seawater may cause damage to your jewelry.
Cleaning your Jewelry
Use 100% cotton as a polishing cloth since paper, polyester, and coarse fabrics contain wood fibres that may cause fine scratches on the metal.
To remove fingerprints or light dirt, soak for 2-3 minutes in a mixture of warm water and mild liquid soap. Then rinse thoroughly in clean water and dry completely.
Wipe leather gently with a soft, dry cloth for daily cleaning.
Clean stains immediately before they soak in or dry.
Brass & Bronze
Avoid getting your brass jewelry wet.
A commercial brass cleaner will restore it to its original shine. If this is unavailable, use a soft toothbrush and toothpaste to polish
Disinfected your jewelry with alcohol pad once a while for hygienic purpose
You may paint a thin layer of clear nail polish on all areas of the jewelry that comes into contact with the skin to maintain luster and protect the jewelry from rusting.
Storing your Jewelry
Store your jewelries separately to avoid them from rubbing together or becoming tangled.
Store your jewelry in a cool, dry place, away from the sun to avoid tarnishing or discoloration.
